Our after school enrichment program reinforces learning from school, teaches social skills, and encourages good citizenship.  We provide engaging, educational, recreational, and cultural programming.

The primary purpose of our Supporting Learners and Mentoring (SLAM) enrichment program is to provide youth ages 5 to 14 with the resources and opportunities to develop and expand cooperative and interdependent social skills and relationships through structured activities in a safe, fun, and engaging environment; both face to face and virtual.

The program is designed to improve academic performance, develop and enhance relationships and leadership skills, increase awareness of other cultures, and inspire a sense of community pride.  We make connections to grade-level benchmarks, standards, and the school-day curriculum.  Activities will be designed to build basic literacy and math skills, as well as 21st Century Skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

We create an emotionally supportive and non-threatening enrichment and learning environment where learners feel safe and valued.  We partner with several local schools and community organizations to expose students to a variety of activities as well as social, educational, cultural, and career opportunities. We create an emotionally supportive and non-threatening enrichment and learning environment where learners feel safe and valued.
