UPDATE (6/01/2020) - YES, WE ARE OPEN

Updated: Jun 13, 2020

These are unprecedented times and we at Academic Support and Resource Center are working together to ensure that we follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the government's protocols, therefore we will remain physically CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  We have initiated polices and procedures to help minimize the risk of spreading infectious diseases like COVID-19 (and other communicable illnesses, such as seasonal influenza) in our Center.  While we have always maintained high standards of cleanliness, we have implemented even striker standards during this time of crisis and concern.  We wish you and your family health and safety in this uncertain time.  Please know that the health and safety of our students, families, staff, is our greatest concern.  We are here to help.

As always, you have our commitment to student learning.  However, as times and circumstances change so must we.  Therefore, we realize in light of the COVID-19 crises, it is now time to take our Center programs on line with Academic Online Connections Online tutoring, while not new, is one solution that may be able to provide the accessibility, affordability, and flexibility necessary to move education forward in a substantial way.

Through Academic Online Connections, our online portal, students will have the opportunity to experience online tutoring, coaching and mentoring. Through this online vehicle we will continue to build the skills, confidence and motivation of our students during this time.  We want to make sure our students have continuity and consistency with their academic programs. We will continue to help students with academic content, homework, subject specific needs, focused programs on phonics, vocabulary, reading, reading comprehension, writing, math, study skills development and even state and standardized tests.  Although our state and standardized test dates have been cancelled or postponed, students still need to continue to prepare for when the time comes to take the test.

If you have a question, or your child is working on something that gives you pause, do not hesitate to give us a call.  We are dedicated to helping our students regardless of the circumstances and will continue to provide resources for families (Academic Online Connections) is available FREE to all current students (current as of 03/01/2020) - until we get through this crisis).  To schedule a tutoring session click here.

Finally, thank you for your continued support during this difficult and unprecedented time. Know that this too shall pass and we will come out victorious!
